Paro

Punakha
Punakha dzong is the administrative center for Punakha Dzongkhag. It was capital and seat of the government until 1955. Gangtey ( Phobjikha Village)

Bumthang

Trongsa
Trongsa means “ New Village” in dzongkhag, located in center Bhutan. The temple was built in 1543,by the Drukpa lama Ngagi Wangchuk, who was the great grandfather of Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel, who unified Bhutan. It is built on a mountain spur high above the gorges of the Mangdue chhu.
Here you will be able to see Trongsa Dzong(Chokhor Raptse Dzong) which was built in 1644. It is largest Dzong in Bhutan and used to be the seat of the Wangchuk dynasty before it became the ruler in 1907.
The entire landscape around the Trongsa is beautiful and attractive with the green valley and mountain.
